How do I access Loc8?

Loc8 is accessed through a web browser.
For Trial accounts use the web address: http://loc8trial.smartpath.com.au/
For SaaS Customers please use http://loc8.smartpath.com.au
For other customers or inquiries please contact your Smartpath Account Manager, Smartpath Partner or your IT System Administrator.

What version of Flash does Loc8 require?

Loc8 requires Adobe Flash Player 10 or above.  If the Flash version displayed below is less than 10.0.0.0 please upgrade here.

What Web Browser should I use to access Loc8?

Smartpath recommends Internet Explorer 6.5+, Safari 3.0+ or FireFox 2+

What is the minimum amount of RAM needed to run the Loc8 Client?

There is no real minimum RAM requirement other than that recommended minimum specified by the Operating System Vendor. ie. Microsoft Windows or Apple Mac OS X. However, the more RAM your machine has the better Loc8 will run.

Why don't I need to install Loc8?

Loc8 runs as a server product and is accessed using any modern web browser with the Flash Player installed.

Can I access Loc8 from any Computer?

Loc8 can be accessed from any computer that also has Adobe Flash Player 10.x or above installed which also has network or internet access to the Loc8 server.

What is SaaS? – What is Software as a Service?
